Crime Stoppers is a community policing program that  brings together components of law enforcement, the community, and the media to solve crime.  The program represents a unique partnership formed for a common cause; the safety, security and protection against theft and crime for the residents and citizens of Greensboro and Guilford County. The North Carolina Crime Stoppers Association, Inc. was formed in 1991 as an umbrella organization for Crime Stoppers programs in our state. The assocation’s mission is to further the goals of Crime Stoppers programs through annual training seminars which focus on fund-raising, promotion and operation of individual programs."
